What is Lino Cut prints?
A relief printmaking technique known as a lino print or linocut involves carving a design into a block of linoleum, then inking and pressing the raised portions onto paper to produce a print. This kind of block printing is comparable to woodcuts but uses softer, grainless linoleum that makes cutting in any direction easier and produces a raised surface that serves as a stamp to create numerous, one-of-a-kind prints.
