The Bike Park allows riders to investigate the 130km Bottelary Hills Conservancy and MTB Trails – which wind through active wine farms, magnificent fynbos, and renosterveld conservation areas – on farm roads, jeep tracks and single tracks.

What To Do At Polkadraai Farm
Bike Park
Everone are welcome at this family-friendly Bike Park, which offers skills and flow courses, jump lines, and a large technical zone to suit riders of all ages and skill levels. Different skill levels and fitness levels are catered for with different distances. All riders must wear helmets at all times and younger visitors must be supervised by an adult. The Bike Park is open every day, including weekends and public holidays (except on Christmas Day), and is open for riders to spend the entire day, closing at 5 in the afternoon. Birthday celebrations can be accommodated, as well as riding schools and other special occasions.

Strawberry Picking
The greatest site to pick your own plump, delicious strawberries is Polkadraai Farm. Come have a delightful family day in the fields selecting and consuming juicy, sweet, organic strawberries! Savour sweets made with strawberries in the food court or browse the farm store for a variety of products you can take home. Strawberry season in the Cape is between October and December.
Tractor Rides
The entertaining and educational tractor rides on the Polkadraai Express gives you a tour of the farm’s strawberry fields. It makes a loop around the farm instead of stopping in the fields. The tractor rides are open daily throughout the school/December break and from 9 am to 4 pm on all weekends and public holidays (except Christmas Day). There must be an adult in charge of the kids.
Mini Golf
The course has twisting greens, slick slopes, and plenty of obstacles, and together with its proximity to strawberry fields, ensure that everyone will have a good time. PPGA Tour Professional Brent Shapiro created the entertaining 18-hole layout of the course.
Birthday Parties
Polkadraai Farm is the perfect place for a party because of the free playground facilities for young children and toddlers, as well as all the entertaining activities! The ideal location for birthday celebrations, baby showers, kitchen teas, and corporate visits is Polkadraai Farm.
Other Activities
The younger children will enjoy taking a pleasant ride with the resident ponies around their enclosure, and they can have their faces painted by the local face painters. There are pre-packaged arts & craft options at the farmstall that include paint kits, sand art cards, mosaic art packs and engraved art. Separate playground areas near the party booths cater for kids 1 – 5 years and 5 – 12 years. The food court offers a selection of light meals for both adults and children, along with other delectable goodies.
