Longest Zipline in the World!
The world’s longest zipline is soon to be opened in Caledon, a little town located slightly over an hour from Cape Town, so thrill-lovers and adventure seekers have reason to celebrate. SA Forest Adventures is leading this record-breaking attraction, which is aimed to open later in 2024.
The K3 zipline in Caledon will surpass the current record-holder, Jais Flight in Ras al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, by almost 400 metres, with a staggering length of 3,2 kilometres. Adventurers will be able to speed from the top of a mountain to the lower landing stage along the N2 motorway with the Caledon Zipline. This new zipline, which offers unmatched thrills amidst the breathtaking scenery of Cape Overberg, is set to become a major attraction in the Western Cape.
Discover the joys of Caledon’s unique K3 Zipline as you soar through the lush foliage. The slides tower above the earth, with lush foliage down below, many different birds and wildlife about, and you can hear the sounds of nature as you soar from one platform to the next. SA Forest Adventures wants to maintain the record as the longest zipline in the world, therefore planning are already underway for a five-kilometer line after K3 gets going.

There is already a zipline system in place in Caledon, close to the Caledon Hotel & Spa. The slides are 8 to 18 metres high above the earth. The twelve platforms and twelve slides range in length from a kid-friendly sixty metres to an incredible two hundred metres. With the safe breaking system that comes with the zip lines, you are ultimately in charge of how fast you go. With a 1.2km overall length, this can be the perfect experience for the explorer.
